Press Release

Philippe Védiaud Publicité was awarded the contract to manage the city of Saint-Etienne’s advertising street furniture. The contract will run for 15 years and Védiaud Publicité called upon the services of Prismaflex International to supply the material that is already being installed throughout the city.

NEW STYLISHLY DESIGNED DISPLAYS FOR SAINT-ETIENNE

November 2016, installation of the furniture: the installation of the scrolling signs and bus shelters is underway to fit out the city. Prismaflex had to design, manufacture and deliver the material that was often made-to-measure, and at the same time respect a very tight timeline that was directly linked to the dismantling of the furniture already in place.

  • 65 scrolling signs: one scrolling side, the other static.
  • 149 shelters for the tramways in a variety of different versions (single, double or triple area, advertising sides, glazed sides, with and without WiFi hotspots, USB port integrated in the benches…).

ADVICE, KNOW-HOW AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

To satisfy the very specific requirements of the market (such as the design of 14 different models of shelters for the tram) Prismaflex had to customise certain elements (created individually to correspond to the imposed timeline for the installation and replacement of the former units as they were dismantled one by one) while controlling the full process from the design to the machining, the production and also providing assistance during installation operations. Prismaflex International’s industrial strength (know-how and tooling), coupled with a three-fold expertise: mechanical, electrical and electronic, put Prismaflex in a position to carry off the challenge in spite of the very tight turnaround time.

It is thanks to the engineering and R&D department’s capacity to perform a complete development cycle that Védiaud Publicité elected Prismaflex International to fit out the city of Saint-Etienne with an extensive range of product solutions. As a prominent player in the traditional advertising sector, Prismaflex International continues to expand its expertise in the fields of design and technology.

Prismaflex hereby confirms this expertise and innovative capacity in the traditional advertising and street furniture sector and the group also plays an increasingly active role in the rapidly expanding digital signage sector with PRISMATRONIC, a range of LED integrated billboards.
